A feeling of heartbreaks, devastation and loss when super typhoon "Haiyan/Yolanda" strikes at the Visayas Island,Philippines, 7:00am on November 8, 2013. "Haiyan /Yolanda " typhoon is known to be strong and deadly typhoon ever recorded in recent's decades of planet's history. Though Philippine government made its initial warning to the affected areas of the coming super typhoon, and though local government's of each cities in Visayas made their efforts to save lives, objectively to a zero casualty, still the said super typhoon made it a worst strikes ever.It was indeed the most severely typhoon scenario ever made in Philippine history, worst than "Ondoy" on September 2009 and "Sendong" on December 2011, where on "Yolanda/Haiyan" the entire Visayan region was affected.

No words can express nor describe the pain of the Filipino people with this ordeal, affected or not, everyone is heart broken for this year's unpleasant event. Not to mention that before super typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan hit the Visayan region, there has been a magnitude of 7.2 earthquake that struck still, in Visayan region. We couldn't imagine how the people of Bohol, Cebu, Tacloban and other cities touched by these havoc can continue lives despite of the double-up ungrateful situation this year. Most of them loose their houses, livelihood and loved ones. Photos below were some of the situations in Tacloban City, days ago, were Tacloban happens to have majority of casualties, no standing houses left, airport washed out and a lot of people died in spite of local government's efforts of preparation.

Looking for Food
Remains of victims lay by the roadside of Leyte.
And, at this darkest our, the most scariest thing is when you think that you've lost a family already.
This is Michelle Nastor, born and raised in Tacloban City, Leyte, a friend of mine, who inspires me to write this blog. Michelle was lucky to be safe when super typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan strikes, she was in Cebu city who happens to be minimal in damage with the said typhoon , she was working there , while her entire family was in Tacloban. According to Michelle, around 7:30am. Friday, (November 8, 2013) when she were talking to her family member and saying; they were okay, minutes later, communication was off. It only took an overnight of no-communication that decided her to go home in Tacloban despite the news, and that the possibility that her family was included in the washed out. Saturday, morning of November 09, 2013, when she arrived in Tacloban port. She knew right there and then, that this will be the longest walking she can ever imagine in her entire life. There were no public transportation, so she needs a strong feet to get through to their barangay and look for her family, no communication satellite, no power supply, no clean water, debris are everywhere and remains of the victims are lying on the street. When she arrived she took some photo from her barangay.
Her heart was broken seeing all her "ka-barangays" trying to figure out with the debris, foods to eat in the coming days and their houses that had been destroyed by the super typhoon "Yolanda/Haiyan".
She cried seeing her hometown all gone out in less than an our.

She finally calm herself up when reached their destroyed house and seeing her auntie "Alicia" and the rest of the family alive, her aunt shed tears, seeing Michelle, while trying to absorb the situation and how did they survive the deadliest typhoon. Alicia was crying before this photo taken, she says" hindi namin aakalain na mabubuhay pa kami, sira na rin itong bahay" (we never thought we can survive, our house is destroyed too), lesson learned; BE POSITIVE AND ALWAYS TRUST GOD WITH HE'S PLAN. From this photo, only this portion of the house left , where Alicia and the other family member can stay with, after typhoon strikes and the rest was destroyed. And it will take a long time, according to Michelle to rebuild their house.
The situation maybe very unfair, and no one is to blame when calamity attacks. In times like this, the only thing that we can do is pray, thank God that others able to survive and for us, who were blessed, not affected by this tragedy.. we should share the blessings that we are having right now, besides its better to give than to receive. I hope that the necessary help will be given to Michelle's family and to the other victims of typhoon Yolanda / Haiyan.
